K West Hotel is swapping floral tea plates and saucers for turntables with their Glam Rock Afternoon Tea. Experience the ultimate Rock ’n’ Roll afternoon tea with a range of treats and delights served on a retro turntable in the heart of West London.
This unique spin on traditional afternoon tea serves up an eccentric menu including the Marc Bolan-inspired Tea Rex, Bob Marley Born to Rum Cocktail and a selection of loose leaf teas and herbal infusions. Guests can also indulge in a selection of savouries such as the Beetroot & Gin Cured Salmon and Blue Cheese & Grapes on Rye Bread.
Priced at £28.50 per person the Glam Rock Afternoon Tea is available Monday to Sunday from 2pm-5pm in the Studio Bar and Kitchen.
The Glam Rock Afternoon Tea pays tribute to the hotel’s music heritage in a playful, fun and stylish way. Formerly the BBC Building Kensington House in the 70s and 80s, an endless list of Rock ‘N’ Roll royalty has stayed, played and misbehaved at K West – Bob Marley and the Wailers, Bowie, The Kinks and Roxy Music to name a few. Since becoming a hotel, the venue has continued to strike a chord with musicians and music fans alike with nearby music venues such as O2 Shepherds Bush Empire and the Apollo.
