Customer Reviews Offer Unique Insight Into L&Q Developments

Leading housing association L&Q has partnered with residential review platform HomeViews to better understand what buyers are looking for from their new developments.

The partnership has so far generated over 600 reviews for L&Q schemes – all of which are from verified L&Q residents, ensuring authenticity.

Feedback from reviews so far shows that 86% of L&Q’s residents love or enjoy their environment, with the housing association achieving an average of 4.3 out of 5 for location across all its schemes.

“Customer reviews have always been such a valuable insight for us across the business as a whole, but having development-led content has provided much more detailed information that we can really use to understand our buyers and what drew them to specific schemes and homes.

“Actively partnering with HomeViews to seek out more feedback from real buyers and those who rent homes in our new developments gives us great insight into the buying experience, helping us continually improve our services and our homes.

“For one of our East London developments, Lock No.19, we’ve seen multiple comments about the design and specification of the homes – the way that light has been promoted throughout the development and how the architecture ties into the history of the local area. These are elements we of course knew about, but seeing how much emphasis real buyers place on such aspects can help inform how we promote and develop homes in the future.

One of L&Q’s highest-rated schemes is L&Q at Elephant Park – part of the wider development bringing 3,000 new homes and a brand new two-acre park to the central London location. Shared owners have rated the development 4.24 out of 5, with the design and location two elements owners would recommend to other potential purchasers.

One shared owner commented: “Design is very modern & sleek. The flat has a beautiful kitchen & bathroom finishing touches, with an almost hotel-like feel to it. Storage space was carefully thought through by designers.”
