Barratt London Restores Hounslow Church Ahead of Reopening

Staff members from Barratt London’s High Street Quarter development in Hounslow recently volunteered their time to renovate nearby Holy Trinity Church on Hounslow High Street, allowing the church to reopen its doors to those in need as part of its Homeless Person Project.

Throughout the day Barratt London restored various parts of the church including the kitchen, toilets, showers, main function room and fire escape. The restoration involved painting and redecorating, replacing tiles, as well as fixing water and electrical issues.

Alongside the volunteer work, Barratt London will also provide a donation to the church as part of its Community Fund initiative. The scheme sees the housebuilder donate £1,000 each month to a charity which is improving the quality of life for those living in the vicinity of one of its developments across the Capital.

Danny Farenden, Projects Director at Barratt West London said: “As the nation’s largest housebuilder, we are committed to contributing positively to communities local to our developments. We’re so pleased that we have been able to use our relevant skills to give back to such an important cause, and we hope the work completed during our volunteering day will help the church to assist many local people with its Homeless Person Project.”
