As the start date of the 2022 F1 season draws closer and the opening weekend in Bahrain is a little over a week away, and the early rounds of testing that have been seen bring a lot of excitement too with the new cars being unveiled and showing a small amount of expectation for the coming season. For fans looking to wager there are plenty of options already emerging at casinoohneanmeldung.casino and other sites looking to proclaim the champion ahead of the season even getting underway, but last minute adjustments are the current news within the sport.
Haas have definitely had a bad run of things over the past couple of years, with performance starting to slip heading into the 2020 season and effectively giving up all development of their car with two juniors in the 2021 season, hopes had been high that 2022 would be the season of change with strong development of the car but also strong development of its two young drivers – particularly for Mick Schumacher who had quite the shoes to fill in hopes that he could follow in his father’s footsteps and become another legend in the F1 community.

These hopes were to be short lived, however, as the emerging crisis in Eastern Europe had also brought about plenty of change to the Haas team – losing its Uralkali sponsor was an immediate concern for team funding that brought a flashback of the Rich Energy saga from years prior, this was quickly resolved as it was expected that funding would be resolved very quickly, and the team wouldn’t have to worry about any cash issues moving forward. The loss of its title sponsor however would be concerning for Nikita Mazepin – although the driver had received plenty of criticisms the team was certainly behind him and his progress, but as a pay driver the loss of the sponsor that paid for his seat wouldn’t bode well for the future and as expected Haas decided to replace Mazepin. For now, the Brazilian driver Pietro Fittipaldi will step into the car to start the season, but the team may turn to a more experienced hand as the season progresses in order to see further development of the car throughout the season with Antonio Giovinazzi being heralded as the likely candidate to take the seat.
It’s a tough situation for all involved and to come so close to the start of the season has the potential to jeopardize progression – as many hope the teams will be much closer this year, getting off to a good start is more important than ever with the new regs in place.
