Fivetran empowers Raiffeisen Bank International’s marketing teams across Austria and 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe to leverage real-time data to improve campaign results

Fivetran, the global leader in data movement, today announced that Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) has chosen Fivetran as its standard for data movement in marketing. RBI is the second largest corporate and investment bank in Austria, serving 18.6 million customers across Central and Eastern Europe. RBI uses Fivetran to integrate multi-channel marketing data across a total of 11 countries. This integration enables real-time insights and campaign optimizations, improving its customer acquisition strategy and helping RBI create effective, customer-focused campaigns.

RBI’s marketing team in each country runs their respective local campaigns across social networks, web, mobile apps and broadcast. Before adopting Fivetran, each team spent days manually compiling reports, which led to poor data quality and delayed insights, with reports generated on a monthly or quarterly basis.

With out-of-the-box, fully-managed connectors, Fivetran provides RBI marketers access to near real-time data to effortlessly generate reports and refine campaigns, which has resulted in a substantial increase in marketing effectiveness. Additionally, more than 200 employees have access to these insights to support broader business decisions.

“Fivetran enables RBI to meet all compliance regulations such as GDPR and has all security certifications that are required of us as a bank,” said Christophe de Cussy, Senior Delivery Manager at RBI. “The Fivetran platform streamlines our data integration and opens up new opportunities for data-driven marketing initiatives to fuel our continued growth.”

Additionally, RBI is leveraging Fivetran to enhance its customer data platform (CDP) with internal and external data, facilitating advanced machine learning models for deeper customer insights and integrating data from platforms like LinkedIn for seamless marketing automation.

“RBI’s use of our platform exemplifies how data can empower banks to create compelling marketing and customer acquisition campaigns and drive results for the business,” Rachel Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer at Fivetran, added. “We’re committed to supporting their digital transformation with secure, efficient data access that opens new avenues for growth.”
