The African Business Chamber (AfBC) has officially announced the finalists for the 2025 AfBC African Business Awards. The highly anticipated awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre in Kensington and Chelsea, London.
A total of 100 finalists—comprising organisations, startups, business leaders, individual entrepreneurs and professionals from across the UK—will compete across fourteen industry categories. This year’s theme, “Cel- ebrating African Business Excellence, Innovation and Leadership,” reflects the vibrant and growing im- pact of African-led businesses in the UK.
Eugene Nizeyimana, CEO and Executive Founder of AfBC, shared his congratulations:

This year’s judging process was particularly competitive, with the selection panel reviewing a record number of exceptional nominations. Mr. Nizeyimana commended all entrants:

Winners will be announced during the Awards Gala on 3rd July 2025.
The Awards Ceremony will be attended and graced by various African High Commissioners and Ambassadors in the UK, including representatives from Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Namibia, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, among others. Distinguished guests will also include Members of Parliament (MPs), Mayors, and other inter- national dignitaries.
Key supporting organisations and partners of the 2025 AfBC African Business Awards include prominent Africa-focused financial institutions, investment firms, media outlets, and diaspora-focused organisations and businesses such as Bank of Africa UK and Diaspora Insurance.
The Awards category will also include special recognitions and honorary accolades presented to distinguished individuals
