1. Scorched yam chips:

 First set the oven temperature up to 350 degrees. Make slices of potatoes or yams and put them on a baking sheet. Bake these slices for at-least 20 to 25 minutes until they become crispy.

2. Carrot sticks added with hummus:

In a food processor, add carrot sticks with fresh lemon juice, fresh herbs, minced garlic and other spices you enjoy than add one cup of water to make thin hummus to your desired consistency.

 Set oven to 350 degrees. Add ingredients like rolled oats, nuts and dried fruit with honey, vegetable oil and little amount of granola and spread all on a baking sheet. Bake them for at least 25 to 30 minutes until this mixture become crunchy.

5. Mochi Cusine:

 It is a Japanese cusine known as rice cake made of glutinous rice crushed into paste. It is traditional dish made in a ceremony called mochitsuki in Japan. It is found in both sweet and savory flavors.

 6. Nut butter with Rice cakes.

It adds deliciousness to your diet by munching on crispy rice cakes spread with almond butter or good old peanut butter. The protein present in the nut butter will instantly give you a nice energy boost.

 7. Fresh Organic fruit:

Fresh fruits are rich source of proteins and minerals .Various fresh fruits available in market become healthy source of vegetarian snacks. You can eat them wherever you want which provides immediate freshness and energy to the body.

8. Delicious Nuts:

You can prepare it easily, in a blender add equal amounts of rolled oats, almonds, sesame seeds, apple juice, brown rice syrup and poppy seeds and blend them until mixture gives small chunks.

 9. Jicama sticks with Guacamole Snacks:

Combine red onion with tomato, jalapeno cilantro, lime juice, one teaspoon of sea salt and peel a jicama in a bowl until it become chunky, which adds a delicious taste on recipe.

A fun snack for your kids, fill up celery sticks with almond butter, nuts and dot with dried blueberries and combine them with one cup of water, to add different flavors in it. With these vegetarian snacks, you and your kids will never have to go hungry or grab junk food!
