Cheshire Phoenix extended their winning streak to 5-0 Sunday, whilst London Lions picked up their second win of the weekend.
Despite coming off a tough game against rivals London City Royals on Friday, the Lions were still able to pick up a 10-point victory over Plymouth Raiders, 80-90.
Brandon Peel led his team to victory, picking up a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, and he was assisted by 2018-19 MVP Justin Robinson who tallied up another key 20 points, giving London their third win of the season.
In the North West derby, it was the Cheshire Phoenix who emerged victors over Manchester Giants, 96-85. Ben Mockford racked up 26 points for the Nix and Jalen Hayes picked up a double-double for himself of 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright also provided a key eight assists for his team to pick up their fifth consecutive win.
