Scaling European operations to support continued growth in data transformation solutions

dbt Labs, the pioneer in analytics engineering, today announced the opening of a new, expanded office in Dublin – just over a year after establishing its initial presence in the city. The new location will provide additional space to support the company’s rapid growth; currently, dbt Labs has 40 employees based in Ireland, with plans to nearly double its local workforce by early 2026.

dbt Labs Chief Operating Officer, Brandon Sweeney, Vice President People, Meg Pittman, and Alastair Ejeson-Gould, Vice President EMEA, will be onsite to mark the opening. The new space reflects the company’s ongoing investment in European operations and underscores Dublin’s role as a strategic hub in dbt Labs’ global growth strategy.

“Since launching our initial presence just over a year ago, Dublin has become a key hub for our go-to-market teams and a gateway to serving customers across EMEA,” said Meg Pittman, VP People at dbt Labs. “What makes it so special is the incredible leadership and talent we’ve been fortunate to grow in-region. As we scale to meet global demand, we’re excited to keep investing in Dublin and building the future of analytics engineering.”

Alastair Ejeson-Gould, Vice President, EMEA at dbt Labs, is encouraged by the exceptional talent in Dublin and the regional momentum since establishing the office.

“We are building a diverse, powerhouse team in Dublin, and they’re delivering significant results for the business,” he said. “This expansion will help us execute on our ambitious plans to scale and accelerate our presence in Europe at an exciting time of our growth.”

This latest milestone follows a period of significant momentum for dbt Labs, including:

  • Launches on Google Cloud and the Google Cloud Marketplace to power data and AI workflows

  • Surpassing $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue, driven by widespread adoption across the Fortune 500

  • The recent acquisition of SDF Labs, strengthening dbt Labs’ SQL comprehension capabilities and accelerating developer productivity
