Ealing restaurant Meadow launches mouth watering Christmas menu, complete with stylish seasonal cocktails

Offering a contemporary take on traditional Italian cuisine, Ealing’s favourite celebrity haunt, Meadow restaurant, has unveiled its much-awaited Christmas menu, comprising a dazzling array of delicious main meals, divine desserts and sumptuous cocktails.

The festive menu’s Italian-inspired main meals include:

  • Pan-roasted Turbot served with Parmentier potatoes and a brown shrimp beurre blanc

  • Porchetta accompanied by roasted baby potatoes, turnip tops and pan gravy

  • Wild boar with polenta, verdura and toasted walnut

  • Confit free-range duck leg with an autumnal chestnut gratin, cavolo nero and port jus

For those with a sweet tooth, desserts include:

  • Mr Black’s Tiramisu

  • Panettone pudding, cognac soaked apricot, festive spiced fig, bourbon vanilla icecream

  • La Latteria British Burrata with wiltshire truffle.

No Christmas celebration should go without a festive cocktail or two to mark the occasion, and Meadow’s 5* mixologist has pulled out all the stops this year.

  • The Christmas Carol – an infusion of Aperol, rhubarb liqueur, raspberry syrup and lime juice topped with prosecco and garnished with rhubarb and raspberry

  • The Nut Cracker – a blend of Courvoisier, Sea Buckthorn syrup, lemon, angostura bitters and finished with prosecco, redcurrants and mint.

  • The Rocking Robin – a mix of Tanqueray London Dry Gin, gooseberry liqueur, lemon juice, gum syrup, peychaud bitters, finishing a touch of prosecco.

Meadow opened its doors in Summer 2021, delighting locals and visitors with ingredients sourced from some of the UK’s finest producers. At the heart of the menu is a custom-built charcoal grill. Built in Dorset using 100% ethically produced, distilled English charcoal, the grill brings a distinctive ‘flavour of the forest’ to Meadow.

The attention to detail delivered across the food and drink menu is complemented by the decadent interior. Hanging florals, light open spaces adorned with giant ceiling lanterns and mirrors, and a hanging wicker chair perfect for photo opportunities, provide guests with a rare opportunity to escape the stresses of everyday life at this contemporary Italian oasis.

 

Co-founded by hospitality veterans Igor Matrosov and Rashid Mursekaev, Meadow succeeds at delivering impeccable standards of dining within a relaxed atmosphere. Some of duos other successes include top London brunch spots such as Las Banderas and consulting for the holding company of Covent Garden’s Avobar and Pancs Café, which boast prestigious locations in London, Switzerland USA and Hong Kong.
