Five Designer Fashion Brands From The Most Stylish European Nations

European brands have long dominated the fashion world. A recent survey, carried out by Love The Sales, discovered which nations the Brits gravitate towards for their fashion inspiration. To celebrate the style winners, Love The Sales has picked its top designer brands from the most stylish European nations.

Gucci – It is no surprise that 23% of Brits favour Italian fashion given that it is the birthplace of labels such as Gucci; the poster boy of high fashion. Take a Gucci bag across the world and it will be immediately recognised wherever you go.

Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton started his empire by crafting and selling high quality suitcases and handbags in the heart of Paris, the fashion capital of the world. However, the nation home to the so-called fashion capital is only regarded as the second most stylish country by the Brits, scoring 18% of votes.

Diane Von Furstenberg – The Belgian fashion designer is commonly regarded as one of the world’s top designers and is most recognised for the iconic wrap dress which is still hugely popular decades after its creation. Von Furstenberg’s success may be a contributing factor to Belgium coming in fifth place – scoring 3% of the vote.

Acne Studios – The Swedes are not only fast-fashion specialists, but they also boast luxury heavy hitters such as Acne Studios. Brits gave Sweden receiving 3% of votes for its style credentials. The brand focusses on the highest quality fabrics and rarely bears a logo. The top quality and fit have garnered love amongst sophisticated Brits.

Balenciaga – Established in Spain, which the Brits crowned the fourth most fashion-forward of our European cousins, Balenciaga is a brand that shouts luxury. The brand is known for its expensive yet peculiar shoes, such as the skin-tight Speed Sock, the Knife Boot and chunky Triple S trainers.
