The entertainment business has seen vast changes over the past decade and has mainly been down to the way we are now digesting our entertainment due to the advances in technology that has been shown. Especially in 2020 as many forms of entertainment closing their doors to combat the spread of the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 including cinemas and theatres, many of us have turned to online entertainment, and we expect this trend to grow moving into the future.

Due to the limited amount of physical attendance over the past year in entertainment, there has been a huge new industry that has burst onto the scene that is streaming. Many have found themselves streaming their favourite films and tv shows on applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to ensure they can replace the cinemas which have been closed for some time now. Online streaming services have always been on the rise since they came onto the market and moving into the future, we don’t think this trend is slowing down anytime soon.

In terms of gaming entertainment, many of us are looking forward to how the gaming industry is going to development with the use of newfound technology. One of the most spoken about areas of the gaming industry is the virtual reality element that has been in gaming for a couple years now but hasn’t quite taken off yet. However, as technology improves, we expect VR gaming to become the forefront of the gaming world and fully expect it to take off in the future as VR companies become more heavily invested in its future.

Other online entertainment that has seen a boom in recent time are online casinos and best casinos lists some here. They have been offering the opportunity for consumers to try and produce a profit from the comfort of their own homes during 2020 as other channels of entertainment has been limited, and the success of this has been shown in the quality of casino they have on offer. These non gamstop casinos are also offering some of the best promotional deals for fellow punters to sign up to and receive on deposit – something certainly worth checking out.

And finally, entertainment for the younger generation has certainly taken a shift away from watch terrestrial television which many are predicting is dying out, with many children now uses apps such as YouTube and TikTok for their entertainment. With them being the next generation, we believe that these types of apps are going to soar in popularity as they grow in age.
