A local business woman has been awarded for her sales talents at a top industry event.

Neena Patel, senior signage consultant at FASTSIGNS Hammersmith, brought in the third highest revenue across the entire FASTSIGNS UK network in 2021. She was presented the accolade at the franchise giant’s annual convention and awards ceremony, which took place at Staffordshire’s St George’s Park.

Each year, the global signage and visual communications specialist’s annual convention recognises the franchise network’s successes over the past 12 months. It brings the FASTSIGNS UK teams and suppliers together to help share industry knowledge, culminating in a grand gala dinner after the two-day convention.

When Neena joined FASTSIGNS Hammersmith in 2019, she brought over 27 years’ signage experience with her to the role. She was presented the award for her sales successes during 2021 and for expanding its network of local businesses.

This year marks the second year Neena has been recognised for her sales efforts after she was named the Sales Newcomer of the Year, came first in the competition for Sales Revenue of the Year and came third in the Sales Achievement of the Year category at last year’s awards. Last year she also completed the FASTSIGNS Outside Sales Certification, and was the second person in the UK to gain the achievement.

Friederike Slee, co-owner at FASTSIGNS Hammersmith said of Neena’s achievements:

“We’re delighted to have Neena in our team, and her natural ability always shines through. Of course, it’s her hard work and determination that has led to her stellar performance, and it’s fantastic for her commitment to the company to be recognised once more.”

Simon Slee, co-owner at FASTSIGNS Hammersmith added:

“Thanks to Neena, we’ve formed even deeper connections with the local business community. This has helped us complete a wide range of varied and exciting projects, even throughout the challenges of this year. When the world opened up again, she was there to help us help so many companies in the area to relaunch with a bang.”

Friederike and Simon Slee were also recognised for their mentoring of FASTSIGNS St Albans, which opened its doors as a CoBrand partnership in 2020.

John Davies, managing director at FASTSIGNS UK added:

“The determination of our team never fails to impress me. After navigating the difficulties of Covid-19, every franchise has emerged stronger than ever. They’ve been there as industries have reopened again, helping them to realise lots of exciting marketing projects.

“Our sales staff are a crucial connection between each centre and local enterprises. When Neena joined the business in 2019 we could tell that she was one to watch, and this year she’s proven her skills and talents again.

“We’re also thankful for Hammersmith’s leadership team for sharing their knowledge and helping to make our network stronger than ever by mentoring our newer members. This collaborative attitude is what we love at FASTSIGNS, and Friederike and Simon have been a great example of this.”

FASTSIGNS Hammersmith offers a wide range of signage and visual communication services, ranging from illuminated signs to large format wall graphics. The centre has worked with both local and national businesses, ranging from ALDO shoes to Sixt Rent A Car and the London Zoo.
