LONDONERS WILL HAVE THE MOST SEX ON VALENTINE’S DAY

It turns out that Brits won’t be sharing the love under the sheets, according to a new survey.  

The research, conducted by Paddy Power Games, reveals that 86% of Brits won’t be making love on Cupid’s Day, despite Brits having sex 120 days of the year on average. 

British men seem to jump into the sack with a partner more often than British women, with guys having sex 140 days a year on average, compared to 102 days for women. 

With most Brits not getting intimate with their partner on Valentine’s Day, it’s those in Wales who seem to be least likely to mark the day of love, as 93% won’t get lucky on 14^th February. 

But it’s Londoners who are deemed to get the most action, with 20% of residents admitting to getting frisky with their partner on Valentine’s.

The study also asked Brits how many times a day they were having sex, with one in 20 (5%) claiming they do the deed more than once a day.  

On the other hand, almost one in five (18%) confess to having sex less than once a month, as 15% declare they don’t jump into bed with anyone. 

Two million (3%) British adults admit they’re yet to lose their virginity, and residents in London and the Midlands (5%) are the biggest abstainers from sex. Citizens in the South-East of England and Northern Ireland complete the top three, with 4% and 3% respectively. 

However, people in the North-East seem to have the lowest number of virgins, with a mere 1% claiming to have never had sex.  

Those not in a couple this Valentine’s Day, might not be jumping in the sack for quite some time, as Brits disclose their longest sex drought is 477 days on average – equating to more than a year and three months. 

It also seems Brits have been moving away from the bedroom for their hookups, with the car (46%), the bathroom/toilet (38%) and the kitchen (37%) amongst the more popular locations. And, for those more risqué Brits, 1% admit to doing the dead at a funeral and at a wake respectively. 

A Paddy Power Games spokesperson said: “While Valentine’s Day is the day of love, it looks like it won’t be the day of love making for Brits this year.  

“Perhaps then other typical Valentine’s traditions, such as gifting flowers and chocolates, will still be on the cards. And maybe people might do something nice for their partner… like clearing out the backseat of the car. How romantic!”
