Milwaukee folk punk band Violent Femmes has revived its fervent fandom since the group reunited in 2013. Among those fans is skateboarder Stefan Janoski, who’s releasing a special-edition shoe.
“Violent” and “Femmes” are separately chain-stitched on the lateral side of each shoe and the words from the group’s hit 1994 song “I’m Nothing” — which Janoski sings with the band on a version that releases with their newest album — are printed in Janoski’s handwriting on the tongue.
The Nike SB Zoom Janoski “Violent Femmes” releases August 15 on nike.com and at select retailers.
