NormCyber launches free Cyber Security Benchmarking initiative to provide clarity and direction for cyber resilience improvements
Personalised assessment helps organisations strengthen their cyber defences and improve cyber security ROI
NormCyber, the award-winning security operations specialist, has launched its new Cyber Security Benchmarking Session – a complimentary cyber maturity assessment designed to give organisations clear, actionable insight into their resilience posture, along with a prioritised roadmap for improvement.
Delivered by Norm’s NCSC- and CREST-accredited experts, the session is based on the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework. Each organisation receives a personalised Cyber Security Benchmarking Report that highlights security strengths, uncovers key vulnerabilities, and outlines practical steps to strengthen their defences.
The report measures cyber maturity across four critical areas:
- Managing security risk
- Protecting against cyber attacks
- Detecting cyber security events
- Minimising the impact of cyber incidents
Each area is scored against a maturity scale and accompanied by tailored recommendations aligned to the organisation’s current capabilities business objectives. These range from essential activities – such as gaining Cyber Essentials certification – through to advanced measures, including regular tabletop exercises to sharpen incident response.
“Business leaders need clear, unbiased insight into how their cyber defences are performing and whether their investments are delivering measurable returns,” said Wayne Churchill, CEO of NormCyber. “Our Benchmarking Report cuts through the complexity by translating technical risk into a business-level view, contextualised within the NCSC’s best-practice framework. It delivers a prioritised roadmap to strengthen cyber resilience, giving stakeholders the clarity and confidence they need to make risk-informed decisions – fast.”
