Cheshire Phoenix have announced that Louis Sayers will be returning for a second season with the Nix for the 2019-20 BBL Season.
Sayers is currently averaging 8.6 points per game along with 36% from the 3-point line with the British shooting guard having put pen to paper last month.
Coach Ben Thomas said: “I’m really happy to be bringing Louis back for a second year. First and foremost he’s a great guy and an even better team-mate.
“Every time he steps out on the floor he gives 100% and always has the right attitude.
“He’s the type of guy we want representing our club, he puts the team first and will do anything he can to help us win. I’m sure all of the fans will be happy to see him back and I’m looking forward to working with him again next season.”
Sayers added: “I’m excited to be coming back next season! I’ve really enjoyed my time here this year and I’m looking forward to representing the club and playing in front of these fans again!
“Hopefully we can finish this year out on a high and build upon that in 2019-20.”
With three games remaining this season, Cheshire are currently pushing for a spot in the benecos BBL Play-Offs.
